AC Cars, founded in 1901 by Charles Sewell and John Weller in Thames Ditton, Surrey, England, is one of the oldest British car manufacturers. Initially producing motorbikes, they switched to cars after World War I. In 1922, AC introduced the first 2-seater sports car with a supercharged engine - the AC Seven. The company's vehicles have been driven by racing legends such as Stirling Moss and Carroll Shelby. During the 1960s, AC was known for its association with the Shelby Cobra, an iconic American sports car. However, financial difficulties led to a decline in the 1970s, and production ceased in 1982. ACURA

ARO

ARO, short for Ateliers de Construction d'Automobiles de Rouen, was a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1950 by the merger of two companies: Automobiles Rosengart and Automobiles Delahaye. The brand was known for producing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and military vehicles. In its early years, ARO focused on small and economical cars to meet the post-war demand for affordable transportation. ARTEGA

Artega is a German sports car manufacturer founded in 2007 by Klaus Dieter Jost, who previously worked for BMW and Porsche. The company was established to produce a successor to the BMW Z1, which Jost had helped design. Artega's first model, the Artega GT, was based on the chassis of the Volkswagen New Beetle. The car was well received by critics and consumers alike, with its agile handling, powerful engine, and stylish design earning it numerous awards. In 2013, Artega announced that it would cease production due to financial difficulties, but the company has since been revived with plans to produce new models in the future. Currently, Artega's only model is the Artega GT.

ASTON MARTIN

DeLorean

Founded by American automotive executive John DeLorean in 1975, DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) was a short-lived but iconic manufacturer that produced only one model: the DeLorean DMC-12. The company faced numerous financial challenges and production issues, but the DMC-12 gained notoriety in popular culture due to its appearance in the Back to the Future movie trilogy. Despite the company's bankruptcy in 1982, the DeLorean brand has maintained a cult following. Currently, there are no actively produced models by DeLorean. The founding of the company was preceded by John DeLorean's successful tenure at General Motors where he led the development of the Pontiac GTO and Firebird. DODGE

Eagle was an American automobile marque that was a subsidiary of Japan's Sumitomo Corporation and produced by Pace Cars, Inc.
