AC

ARO

ARO, short for Ateliers de Construction d'Automobiles de Rouen, was a French automobile manufacturer founded in 1950 by the merger of two companies: Automobiles Rosengart and Automobiles Delahaye. The brand was known for producing a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, buses, and military vehicles. In its early years, ARO focused on small and economical cars to meet the post-war demand for affordable transportation. One of their most successful models, the AMI 6, was introduced in 1952 and became a bestseller due to its low price and practical design. ARTEGA

Artega is a German sports car manufacturer founded in 2007 by Klaus Dieter Jost, who previously worked for BMW and Porsche. BUGATTI

BUICK

DATSUN

The company was founded in 1931 as the Jidosha Seizo Company, and it changed its name to Datsun in 1934. In 1986, Datsun vehicles began to be sold under the Nissan brand. DeLorean

Founded by American automotive executive John DeLorean in 1975, DeLorean Motor Company (DMC) was a short-lived but iconic manufacturer that produced only one model: the DeLorean DMC-12. The company faced numerous financial challenges and production issues, but the DMC-12 gained notoriety in popular culture due to its appearance in the Back to the Future movie trilogy. Despite the company's bankruptcy in 1982, the DeLorean brand has maintained a cult following. Currently, there are no actively produced models by DeLorean. The founding of the company was preceded by John DeLorean's successful tenure at General Motors where he led the development of the Pontiac GTO and Firebird. After leaving GM in 1968, DeLorean co-founded the Automobile Technology Company (ATC) with British businessman Harold Wilson. ATC was initially established to develop a mid-engine sports car but faced financial difficulties. In 1975, John DeLorean established DMC in Dunmurry, Northern Ireland, with an aim to produce the DeLorean DMC-12, designed by Italian automotive designer Giorgetto Giugiaro. The car featured gull-wing doors and a stainless-steel body, making it a standout in the automotive industry.
